Good Grades for Good Schools
In the eduQua certification process, adult continuing education institutions get certified. eduQua defines six criteria, which are key to the quality of an institution: the course offer, communication with clients, value performance, staff - meaning the educators, learning success, and quality assurance and development.
The criteria determine which minimal standards must be fulfilled in order to distinguish an institution with the eduQua label. The standards are listed in the manual.
Additionally, eduQua stimulates quality development. This happens during the preparation for a certification, the on-site audit, certification report, yearly intermediate audits, and with the renewal of the eduQua certification every three years.
Independent certification authorities in all regions of Switzerland check the adherence to the minimal standards.
